Solo TTRPG — How PLOT Does It

Searches for "solo TTRPG" have been climbing. Scheduling a party is hard. Finding people who want the same genre, pace, and session length is harder.

PLOT isn't a dedicated TTRPG app. But it does exactly what solo tabletop players are looking for — an AI that takes the GM role, narrates scenes, and responds to your choices so the story changes based on what you do. In 20+ languages.

How It Works

Pick a genre
Hunter, fantasy, apocalypse, martial arts, horror, sci-fi, and more — 18+ genres and 60+ scenarios. Or type your own setting in a single line.

The AI writes the scene
The AI describes what's happening and offers what comes next. Same as a GM setting up a scene and asking "what do you do?"

You decide the action
Choose from A/B options, or type a free action. "Smash through the gate." "Talk my way past." "Duck behind cover and fire." Whatever you input gets absorbed into the narrative.

The story carries forward
Your earlier choices shape what comes later. Fifty turns in, the AI still holds the characters, events, and foreshadowing from scene one.

Where it differs from tabletop
No rulebook, no dice, no stats. Entry is fast — pick a genre and you're in. It's close to narrative-heavy tabletop play (think solo journaling RPGs or story-focused systems), and different from combat-math-heavy rulesets.
